Australia vs West Indies, 2nd T20I – Glenn Maxwell’s Historic Century:

Australia vs West Indies, 2nd T20I – Glenn Maxwell had an amazing game against West Indies at the Adelaide Oval on Sunday (February 11). He scored an incredible 120 runs off just 55 balls, helping Australia win by 34 runs. This was Maxwell’s fifth century in T20 cricket, putting him in the same league as Rohit Sharma for the most centuries in T20 internationals. His batting also helped Australia set a new record for the highest T20 international score in their country.

Australia didn’t have the easiest start. Josh Inglis got out early, but Mitchell Marsh played aggressively to set the tone. David Warner also contributed, but both of them got out quickly, giving West Indies a bit of hope.

Then came Maxwell, and the game changed completely. He took some time to settle in, but once he got going, he was unstoppable. He hit boundaries all around the ground, showing off his incredible skills. His partnership with Marcus Stoinis was particularly impressive, with Maxwell doing most of the scoring.

West Indies tried to chase down Australia’s big total, but they lost early wickets, making their task very difficult. Rovman Powell, Andre Russell, and Jason Holder tried their best, but they couldn’t keep up with the required run rate. Australia’s bowlers did a great job of keeping the pressure on, making it hard for West Indies to score freely.

In the end, despite some entertaining batting from Powell and Russell, Australia emerged victorious. Maxwell’s incredible century was the highlight of the game, and it was a fantastic win for Australia.
