Usman Khawaja played a composed innings, providing a steady partnership with Warner. Despite facing a buildup of dot balls, Khawaja remained unfazed. There was a moment of luck when he survived on 21, as Abdullah Shafique missed a high catch running back from the slip cordon.
In his return spell, Afridi had an LBW review turned down against Warner. In response, Warner played an audacious scoop off a length ball for a six, showcasing Australia’s aggressive intent. This momentum continued into the Lunch break, positioning Australia well to achieve a high total in the match.

Day 1 session 2 – Australia is standing tall and strong where they 206/2 in 48 overs and their is not a single bit of difficulty they are facing right now , they handling the pakistani bowlers like they are nothing , david warner scored his 26th century in test matches and steve smith is also supporting very nicely to warner.
where as from pakistan’s point of view the bowling department did’t done their job nicely till now , the only two successful bowlers who got the wicket are shaheen afridi and faheem ashraf and both these bowlers did’t bowl efficiently , they had a high bowling economy rate.
