The Gujarat Giants continued their dominant run in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024, thrashing the Royal Challengers Bangalore by a convincing 19-run margin in a high-scoring encounter at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on March 6th.

The Gujarat Giants’ bowling attack, led by the experienced Ashleigh Gardner, played a crucial role in restricting the Royal Challengers. Gardner picked up two wickets for just 23 runs in her four overs, while Kathryn Bryce and Tanuja Kanwar also chipped in with a wicket apiece. The spinners, Meghna Singh and Shabnam Shakil, applied the brakes in the middle overs, conceding runs at a decent economy rate.
