Although Bumrah, somewhat below his best, claimed four wickets, Rohit Sharma’s team found themselves on the back foot throughout the Test after conceding a substantial lead on a challenging surface. The subsequent efforts of the pacers, while commendable, couldn’t completely alter the script.
