Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman had a scary moment during a training session with the Comilla Victorians. He was hit on the head by a shot from Mathew Forde, who was batting nearby, causing him to bleed.
Fortunately, Mustafizur received immediate first aid on the spot. Then, he was quickly taken to the hospital in an ambulance for further treatment. CT scans later revealed that he hadn’t suffered any internal bleeding, which was a relief for everyone involved.
Mustafizur Rahman Got Fatal Hit To Head :
The team’s physio, SM Zahidul Islam Sazal, explained, “During practice, a ball hit directly at the left parietal area (head) of Mustafizur Rahman. There was an open wound at his parietal area, and we have worked with a compression bandage to stop bleeding and immediately shifted him to Imperial hospital.”
It’s a reminder of the dangers that cricketers face on the field, even during routine training sessions. We wish Mustafizur a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on the field soon.
“After CT scan we are satisfied that he’s had only an external injury. There was no Intra-Cranial bleeding. Now surgical team has given him stitches to treat the open wound. Now he is under close supervision of Comilla Victorians team physio.”
Following the CT scan, it was confirmed that Mustafizur had only sustained an external injury, with no bleeding detected inside his skull. The surgical team promptly administered stitches to the wound to facilitate his recovery. Currently, he is under the attentive care of the Comilla Victorians’ team physiotherapist, ensuring he receives the necessary treatment and support during his recuperation.
