Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant is ready to make a comeback to the cricketing scene, attending the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 auction in Dubai on Tuesday (December 19). This comes as a significant development since his near-fatal accident on New Year’s Eve last year.

Furthermore, it was disclosed that Pant is not only slated to play in IPL 2024 but will also lead the Delhi Capitals team. His full fitness is expected to be restored by the end of February, just in time for the anticipated IPL kickoff in the last week of March, possibly on March 22.
At 25 years old, Pant is set to make history by becoming the first reigning captain to actively engage in a live IPL auction. Coach Ricky Ponting will also join Pant at the Delhi Capitals auction table, with Pant playing a significant role in the team’s auction strategy.
The auction, featuring a total of 332 players, will see other cricket luminaries in attendance.
