Australian Talented batsman Will Pucovski. Unfortunately, won’t be playing in Victoria’s upcoming Sheffield Shield match against South Australia. Why? Well, it turns out he got hit on the head during a 2nd XI game last week, and now he’s dealing with some delayed concussion symptoms.

Will Pucovski was trying to smash the ball out of the park, but he ended up getting hit on the head by a fast delivery from South Australia’s David Grant. Pucovski Even though he toughed it out and kept playing, scoring an impressive 89 runs, he started feeling the effects later on.

As much as we all love seeing Pucovski out on the field, Victoria’s team doctors decided it’s best for him to sit this one out to focus on his recovery. So, sadly, he won’t be in the lineup for the match against South Australia at the Junction Oval.

It’s a bummer for sure, but safety always comes first in cricket. We’ll be rooting for Pucovski to get better soon and cheering on the rest of the team as they take on South Australia. Let’s hope for a speedy recovery and a strong comeback from our star batsman!

Will Pucovski concussion

Unfortunately, Victoria decided not to include Pucovski in their 13-man squad for the match against South Australia at the Junction Oval, which kicks off this Saturday. David Hussey, Cricket Victoria’s head of male cricket, disclosed that Pucovski had experienced delayed concussion symptoms.

“Will passed the relevant tests following the knock in Adelaide last week but has subsequently experienced symptoms over the following days,” David said. “We’ve spoken to our medical staff and the advice is clear that he won’t be able to play this match. While he’s in otherwise good spirits, it’s important that Will focuses on recovering with the support of our broader team.”
