IPL auction player registration last date is november 30.

Thursday, November 30, is the last day for players to sign up for the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction. They need to send their names and No Objection Certificates (NOCs) through their respective boards by this date. The auction itself is happening on December 19.

more than 700 players will register in IPL 2024.

It’s expected that more than 700 players will register, and some big names might be in the mix. Players who performed well in the World Cup, like Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Travis Head, Daryl Mitchell, Rachin Ravindra, Ibrahim Zadran, Rahmat Shah, and others, are likely to be top picks.

Starc, in particular, is attracting a lot of attention from franchises, even though he has a history of making himself unavailable after being picked in previous auctions. Sources close to Cricket Australia say at least five teams have approached him, and he could be a key player in the auction.

After the registration, teams will need to narrow down the list. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) expects around 70 players to be sold at the auction. They’ve set a total transaction limit of INR 262.95 crore, with 77 available slots across the 10 teams. Teams can also have up to 30 foreign players.

Ben Stokes has already pulled out from IPL, and there’s uncertainty about Jofra Archer’s availability after being released by Mumbai Indians. There are also rumors that Josh Hazlewood, recently let go by the Royal Challengers Bangalore, might be up for grabs.

The IPL is likely to take place from the third week of March to the third week of May, after the India-England Test series. This schedule gives players and boards enough time to prepare for the Twenty20 World Cup, starting on June 3.
