Series will start from 7th december

The cricketing extravaganza will commence with a high-octane three-match T20I series, set to kick off on the 7th of December. Enthusiasts will witness two new dynamic full-time captains, Sikandar Raza and Paul Stirling, taking charge of their respective teams for this pulsating series. While Raza will lead the charge exclusively in the T20Is, Stirling has recently been appointed as the captain for both limited-overs formats, adding a fresh dimension to Ireland’s strategy.

Anticipated ODI Showdown

Following the T20I series, cricket aficionados can look forward to an intense three-match ODI series, scheduled to take place on the 13th, 15th, and 17th of December. All six matches are slated to unfold at the esteemed Harare Sports Club, creating an electric atmosphere for players and fans alike. Notably, the previous encounter earlier this year witnessed a gripping T20I series that culminated with Zimbabwe clinching a 2-1 victory, while the ODI series concluded with a 1-1 draw after inclement weather intervened during the final ODI.

“However, before we get to that stage there will be two T20 World Cups to plan and prepare for, and this tour is core to our preparations for the T20 World Cup next June,We showed the world what we were capable of at the last T20 World Cup, but with the talent and potential within this playing group, there is a belief we can push on and achieve even more”.
