In recent interview formar New Zealand captain and star middle order batsman who has taken retirement from all formats of cricket he recently in an interview named Best better in the world right now. He choose none other than his old ipl teammate Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar as the best batsman in one day international. When he was asked about who is the fearsome bowler in the international cricket right now Ross Taylor mentioned indian fast bowler jasprit bumrah as the most fearsome bowler right now in international cricket.
Formal New Zealand captain and Middle order batsman Ross Taylor has completely ignored some famous names like indian captain Rohit Sharma and New Zealand captain Kane Williamson and instead of them he choose his former IPL teammate as the best batsman in the world right now.
Ross Taylor was part of the New Zealand team who has won the 2021 world test Championship and he has also played a important role as a batsman in 2015 and 2019 World Cup finals , during his career he was also part of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL where he played along the Virat Kohli who has been favourite cricketer of every cricket fan.
RCB’s official X handle has uploaded a video on the page where they were speaking to Ross Taylor who holds the record for most runs for the kiwis in international cricket when the they asked him that who is the best batter in the world cricket right now , he said ,” I think it’s hard to go past virat . I think in one day format he is the best player. Him and Sachin are the best ever one day players,” he said.
The former player and captain was also asked who he thinks the most fearsome bowler in world cricket and in reply to this question he mentioned jasprit bumrah ‘s name. He said “I am glad I am retired because bumrah used to always give us nightmares, I think to the New Zealand team. Obviously he’s just come back from injury and bowled fantatically well . I think currently he is probably a player that a team tends to scout and prepare well for “.
Taylor also said that ” well, I think the favourites for the tournament are India, with the way they are playing, being fantastic , and obviously home conditions.”
