The preparations for the consecration ceremony of the Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya are progressing rapidly. The ritual processes are scheduled to take place on a significant scale over seven days, commencing from January 16.

The consecration of the deity Shri Ram Lalla, representing Lord Ram in his childlike form, is set to occur on January 22. On this day, Shri Ram will be installed in the magnificently constructed temple, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in attendance.
The seven-day schedule outlined by the Temple trust includes the following events:
- January 16: Atonement by the temple trust-appointed host, Dashavid bath on the banks of the river Saryu, Vishnu worship, and Godan.
- January 17: A procession will carry the idol of Ramlala through Ayodhya, with devotees bringing Saryu water in Mangal Kalash.
- January 18: Formal rituals commence with Ganesh Ambika Puja, Varun Puja, Matrika Puja, Brahmin Varan, Vastu Puja, etc.
- January 19: Agni Sthapana, Navagraha Sthapana, and Havan.
- January 20: The sanctum sanctorum of the temple will be washed with holy Saryu water, followed by Vaastu Shanti and Annadhivas.
- January 21: Shayadhivas will be performed after a divine bath with 125 urns.
- January 22: The consecration of the deity Ramallah will take place in the afternoon, following morning worship, in Mrigashira Nakshatra.
