ICC decides South Africa as new venue.

After careful discussions, the board has chosen to maintain the suspension of Sri Lanka Cricket, which was initially decided on November 10. Although cricket activities involving the Sri Lankan team will continue without disruption, the suspension itself will not be lifted.

A source shared that the board unanimously agreed that the suspension would stand, emphasizing that cricket within the country would proceed as usual. Sammi Silva, the former president of the ICC, attended the board meeting at ITC Narmada in Ahmedabad on November 21.

The Under-19 World Cup was originally slated for January 14 to February 15. However, these dates overlap with the second edition of SA20, taking place from January 10 to February 10. A Cricket South Africa (CSA) official assured that both events could be held simultaneously since the T20 league is independently overseen by a body separate from CSA.
